Last night I started work on this lovely square-neck 60s sheath dress pattern that my mother bought for me at a flea market somewhere in deepest, darkest Pennsylvania:

It’s a few inches off my size, so I had to grade up the pattern while I copied out the pattern pieces, but it’s fairly straightforward (only 3 pieces plus the neckline facings) so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Strangely enough, I’m planning on making this out of some vintage curtains that a friend got off her mother – they’ve got a very bold red, blue & green pattern that will look wonderful in such a simple shape as this dress. I hope, anyway.
