La Mia Boutique Sept 2010

I’m still away on my honeymoon for a few more days, but in the meantime please enjoy my pre-prepared rundown of the latest La Mia Boutique magazine!

I love this casual, raglan sleeved minidress:

There are quite a few nice trench coats in this issue, but single-breasted ones like these are quite difficult to find:

While this reminds me of a knit tunic Burda did a few years ago, I like that this A line dress is for silks and lightweight crepes, and doesn’t require any zippers.

A super easy (and boxy!) knit teeshirt and stretchy miniskirt. Both are really trendy and would look great together in the right fabrics (just not two stripes!)

A classic peacoat:

Then there’s a feature where they show three skirt suits (a jacket, a shirt, and a skirt), and I really liked this skirt. But I loved it when I saw that it has pockets integrated into the last set of pleats!!

There’s a larger-than usual kids section in this issue, all in ages 9-12, which can be often tricky to find patterns for. Most could be for boys or girls, like this shirt and jeans:

And to match all the ladies trenchcoats in this issue, here’s one for girls!

I wasn’t that impressed with the Plus section in this issue, but I thought this cardi and dress were the best of the bunch.

And finally, just in case you thought all the CRAZY from the August issue had been purged, wtf is this ugly knitting crap? Seriously, that cat looks traumatised by the Ugly!
